Knight Replica Update Blog
This is going to be my blog on the updates to my Knight Replica. I've been meaning to do this for quite some time but never got around to it.
I'm going to go back and add the past stuff I have done but this post is going to be what I've done today.
Last week I went to get my oil changed and get a wiper motor I got on Ebay put on. The motor in the car was working fine but this one came with a built in washer fluid pump.
The motor cost me only $9.99. To have it installed was $130.50. I wouldn't have mind the price if the washer fluid part of it was working but it was not and I was quite pissed because it seemed like it was a waste of money to have it put in.
I went back today and told them about the problem and I wanted my tires rotated because I haven't had that done in quite a while. He said he'll look at the motor again and rotate the tires.
An hour or so later I found out my rear tires and bad but the front ones were fine. Probably because I haven't had them rotated in quite a while. About the washer fluid pump, they ended up getting me a new one for $39.99 from Napa and fixed it. Cool thing is they didn't charge me to put it in so I was happy about that. So, I did waste labor and a still working motor in the car but this one works so it's ok. Next week I may go back and have a new hood release cable put in, which I've been meaning to do for quite a while now too.
